Not quite true. If there wasn't enough O2, you wouldn't have been able to survive the lack of oxygen. The Dometic fridge burner assembly isn't designed to work at high altitudes. I ran into this problem while visiting my brother who lived in Breckenridge. After I combined my half century old knowledge of physics and a careful examination of the entire burner area of the fridge, I was able to design and install an enhancement for it that allows it to run on propane at high altitudes.
