If you see mine, take a photo or two? Should be in paint?

Thanks for posting the pictures, it is very helpful to appreciate the overall build quality. We sold out of our 2013 Seneca because we were ready to move-up in quality and one of the big areas is the integrity of the floor structure. The Seneca had more dust infiltration than we could believe with openings all over the floor. The DX3 floor system looks solid and does not appear compromised with holes everywhere!

It looks like the cabinet colour might be the new "Driftwood" option for 2019?

Does anyone with units currently "on-order" care to comment on delivery dates... we confirmed ours on February 5 and just received notice of a delivery delay until August. How realistic have dates been once provided?

Yes, it is the Driftwood cabinets. I was happy to see the drawers added underneath the tv/closets in the bedroom. They were previously panels as the water tank was located there. Now the fresh water tank has been moved under the bed. Like I said, that was a nice surprise.

My limited experience (I am waiting for a May/June delivery), and through reading this forum and the various Facebook pages is that Dynamax is pretty good at expectation management. If they put a retail customer's name on a build they are pretty good about making the planned delivery date. BC and say differently but that is what I have observed since Jan '18.
Congrats on your purchase, nice coach.

lol...thanks Casey for the optimism, but we're pretty terrible at it.

Well...we try to be good, lets say that. We schedule based on what we want to build. It seems that shortages and staffing has caused some issues. So lately we have been batch building to try and help efficiency but that greatly alters ETA's. So some 5 series people got theirs early and some M2 people may have gotten theirs late because we pushed a bunch of 5's in front.

Having said that...we are often times at the mercy of our suppliers. I know some on here have said "well I would be yelling at (pick any chassis OEM and insert here) because you guys buy so many chassis. You need to pull some weight". Let's put this in some perspective.

FCA sold about 2,000,000 vehicles last year. We bought about 150. That gives you an idea of the pull we have at FCA corporate. Now to our local dealer that is a big number...but still limited on what they can do.

We had a customer that ordered a Canadian Isata 3 and was upset that we could not give them a good ETA. Part of that was because every month, Mercedes just kept telling us "next month". You would think their supply line would be a little more organized, but I feel like its worse than ours (at least for communication). We may have been about 5 months past the original ETA. It was their coach that started the retail pictures on Facebook however...we really just wanted to do something special for them and also provide evidence we weren't lying. In the end, they were more understanding than we could possibly expect, but also we had zero control over the timeline.

I have added a "date guaranty" clause to all our order forms because of this. We will absolutely try to make every date that we can, but at some point we cannot sacrifice our efficiency and procedures to accommodate a delivery date. Once our process is altered to accommodate a delivery, it ends up creating a domino effect that alters multiple other deliveries. Not to mention the stress it adds to the line and management.
