DX3 hose blew off

So when I leave my house I have about a 9% hill I have to climb in either direction, today I made it most of the way to the top when I heard a pop, air leaking and loss of power. Having owned 2 other turbo diesels I knew this sounded like a turbo hose. What I found was a smaller hose that is connected to the intercooler just below the big intercooler hose had blown off where it connects to the engine. The weird thing is this hose never had a clamp on it and the rig has 11,000 miles on. It was a easy fix anyhow. Sorry about sideways picture.

Would be worth checking, I had Freightliner do a complete PM on our rig in the fall. The PM was supposed include testing of the CAC (intercooler system) and they said it was ok.
