DX3 kitchen drawers
We made our first trip with things in the kitchen drawers and found it with almost any turning the top two drawers in the kitchen slide out immediately. When you manually pull them out or push them in, you can feel a little bit of resistance closing or opening, but much. Nothing like all the other drawers in the coach. Is there an adjustment that I can make for this on the slides?

We had to take some weight out of one drawer that kept doing that. I may replace the drawer glide with stronger ones.

Even when I take all the weight out of the drawer it still pulls open with just a very small amount of pressure. Something is clearly not working right on those two drawers but I don't understand what the mechanism is that supposed to keep them in.

On our bigger drawers we use the KING RV Slides. They have a higher "detent force"....IE, it makes them harder to open. I think the standard are 5lbs. the KING are 10lbs.
IF the drawer was too shallow...less than 12", we had to use standard guides as they do not make soft close that small. Also, if the guide is not STRAIGHT back it does not properly engage BOTH sides of the soft close.
I put these same exact guides in my master bedroom closet. With a couple of washers to space the guide properly they started working again. Measure the front, back, see if they get wider in the back. That tells you they need some adjustment. Also check both sides to make sure both sides (at the back of the drawer) are properly engaging.
IF only one side is engaging...you still still feel the soft close, but not enough force to keep them closed.

Since I have the same drawers that you do, my top kitchen drawer has done that, and here is something that you can check.
1. remove the drawer
2. look at both the rear catches in the cabinet on the end of the rails.
3. both should be all the way forward (this is what catches the drawer) and soft closes it
4. if they are not, you can pull them forward, usually one will hang up
what happens with mine is that one side will hang up and not come all the way forward. The drawer works properly but, as you say, going around turns the drawer comes open. My wife has the top drawer full of silverware
so I can see why it happens on mine.
hope this helps some.

While your drawers may be harder than mine, the detente and self closing feature works great. It's the soft close I like. I just wish the drawers were wider...lol.

By Jove I think you've got it! I pulled both forward and the drawer was as good as new. I'm not sure why they stop working, they are greased up well, but at least I know how to fix it again. Thanks a million!

Glad to have helped you, my one side has hung up a couple of times in the last two years, but as you can see, easy fix.

Hold the press, after 2 opening, one side is not coming forward. I keep pulling it till it locks, but it is just not holding after an open. May be a defective, part...
How did you fix yours?

In that case, that side may need to be adjusted. Give that a try.
BC above comments suggests that as well.
I also have seen them on Amazon.
sorry I wasn't much help

Yes, the issue is that something is not aligned and so it is not engaging the "trigger" mechanism. Normally it means the back is too far apart.

I may have finally got it. I ended up moving the back of the left rail over 1/4 of an inch and that seems to have gotten it. It was also mounted a little twisted so I fixed that as well. Must have gotten mounted on a Friday afternoon just before quitting time :-)
