Dx3 Refrigerator Removal
We are thinking about going to a smaller refrigerator. Ours is 36" wide and with just 2 of us we think a 28" refrigerator and a extra pantry beside it makes more sense. So my question is will the refrigerator fit through the door or do I have to tear somethings apart.

Typically the dinette window is the largest point of entry. That's where we bring stuff in like furniture if it is late.

If you have the residential 3 door like I do ... good luck getting that out a window... maybe after a Sawzall is put to work on either the frig or the window... 😊

We do have the 3 door refrigerator, I would think that there should be some way of getting it out short of removing the entire slide. I would think some thought had to be put into it by Dynamax, refrigerators don't last forever.

lol. Ruh Roh. I think there might be a model that requires slide removal to get the fridge out if I'm not mistaken.

Its a slide removal. Now that we know that, the Sawzall would come into play reducing the size of a no good refrigerator .. any replacement would have to come through the door, may have to remove frig doors. Or just remove slide and install another monster..

A counter depth will get through the door.

The fridge is in perfect shape so no sawzall. At this point we a just thinking about it because in the near future we are thinking about going full time rving and think a smaller fridge and more storage would suit our needs better. Still looking at it but it my be possible to bring it out through passenger door of the cab with removing the seats and maybe the door.

Pulling the windshield might be the cheapest/easiest.

It won't go!.... even if the glass opening is big enough it won't clear the dash.. are you planning on removing that too.. didn't think so..

You'd have to trace that back to the first customer that said "I'll buy it if you can do this..." to the sales person who said "OK". And the engineer that said, "OK, but you can't get it out". Everyone else was just keeping up with the Jones'

X2, in my busuness experience this is so true.
Instead of all this hassle can't you use the extra space in the large fridge as a pantry?
I store any food that may attract vermin in my fridge because it is a sealed barrier.
