DX3 Waste Water Dump

What has been the plan of action for dumping waste water with the compartment door closed ??
I have no problem leaving the door open just to dump at a station but would like to close it if at an RV Park and staying a few days. Would like to leave the grey water hooked up and open for doing laundry and such. My hose conection face's straight out and is almost flush with the door. No room to hook on the hose and then close it.
Thoughts anyone ???

Been wondering this same thing. Bought a rhino hose for leaving hooked up but havent had the chance to try and figure out the setup. Need to use the bypass to the macerator which puts you on the side that faces the door as you describe. Is there maybe another bypass on the back side that would work?

Really I'm just subscribing to see the responses Sorry I'm not help

I'll ask engineering, but couldn't you run the macerator down through the bottom hole?, hooked up. Then turn on after laundry?

Yes I can connect the hose to the macerater outlet and still close the door.
Is it ok to dump grey water through this outlet with out running the pump ??
Also is it ok to point the outlet for the macerater hose downward?? It is at a 45 facing up now. ???
Thanks

I dont think water will flow through the macerator hole with the pump off.

I found this out when I went to hook a 3" hose to the bypass and found I had left the grey valve open. Thankfully I was just sanitizing and it was only bleach water I got bathed in lol.

I leave a sewer solution hooked up with the door closed. No problems for me.

Update

I went to the dump station today for the first time with my DX3. What I learned is DO NOT HOOK UP A STANDARD SEWER HOSE
AND PULL THE BLACK WATER VALVE OPEN. Sewage will pass through and come out the macerater outlet.
What has been learned is that I can hook up my macerater hose and leave my grey water open and it will drain with out the pump on.
Long story short I can dump grey water while at the campsite with my storage door closed. All is good. Sorry for all the above questions.

Don't test like I did. That was a nasty mess.
I am happy though that we can do laundry with out the worries of the grey tank overfilling.
All is good here. I've ran out of projects.
Time to go use the ole girl.

Early morning, still dark. Had it all cleaned up and was gone before any of my "friends" saw me.
