Dx3 with bunk over cab

I seem to remember bclemens stating That Dynamax was looking at or thinking about a small bunk over the cab of the Dx3. I am looking at trading my 2015 37rb for a bunk and would like to have that option. Would also like a stainless Steele sink if possible. Would even consider being he test rig if needed. What to the rest of you think ?

Would be similar to a Force HD wouldn't? There are a few more upgrades on a dx3, so I guess that would be cool to have a maxed out bunk model.

I am thinking removing the overhead storage doors and adding a single bunk. Not as big as on the force. There's room here if engineering could make it work. That option for the bunk only would be cool.

lol...day late. Some other poor schmuck was the guinea pig (just kidding...about the schmuck part, not the guinea pig part ).

We officially have that as an option now. (Although dealers may not have the price sheets yet).

I'll try and track down a picture...but yes, it is like the Force HD bunk with a Queen size bed, not a single.

PS. DX3 is stainless sinks standard now.

Does the bunk "cab over" like the force or does the Dx3 roof design stay the same?

It gets a cab over like the Force HD.

It's the only way to get a decent Queen bed (touchy subject).

Hmm would need to see the pics. I like the current roof line and would be fine with a single bunk. I'll wait for the pics. Thx for the response.

A single bunk is not in our future. We tried that with a smaller Ford product. The single ended up 30"x72" maybe???? of course the person that bought it assumed it would be a 60x80 like all other mfg's (even though that is not really the case) and sued us for a non-usable bed that we actually never published a size for.

No good deed goes unpunished.

Yeah I understand your issue on that. We really love the bath and half but would also love bunks but I told my wife that becomes a 45 footer pretty quick and that's a totally different chassis, etc. thanks for all your help I'll let you know when we order it.
