My two cents on the Aqua Hot... great unit when installed properly. Had one on my Wanderlodge and loved it. It was the giant sized old one and I could work on it with my eyes closed. The newer units are smaller and more compact but provide the same results. Not sure they have the capability to handle an engine loop which allowed the engine to transfer its heated coolant around the aqua hot. This allowed constant heat/water without running the diesel burner.... nice feature.
All in all, I miss having it but can make due with what I have. If I need to keep bays from freezing I can modify.... if I need more heat inside, 2 small Pelonis ceramic heaters in conjunction with propane furnaces do the trick. Not really a big deal... however the Aqua Hot is the way to go. With a few extra grand and skills you could even purchase and install one yourself . But, its a job.. or just trade up... I'm done. 😊
