Dynamax Factory.

Is the Dynamax Factory closed this week?

Trying to get a hold of someone in Parts dept .

Does anyone have a good number and name?

We have a DX3 37BH that has the full wall mirror. Some one leaned

against it and it cracked in three pieces. I have taken the mirror down,

but boy, does it sure looks dull and crappy with just the bare wall.

Any one have any ideas for a replacement?

1. No, but we were short staffed last week.
2. The main number and ask for parts. I was just walking down the hall and head CJ answer the phone. "This is CJ with parts". Willie covers the other half of the country, not sure which is which. 888-295-7859

Your best bet, unless you are swinging by is to source one locally. Trying to ship a mirror of that size is a nightmare. You can get holes cut in them for the grommets, or you can just use clips. I think Lowes does stuff like that.

Some clear tape on the cracks would have held for years. Either that or some decorative duct tape.

Left a couple of voice mail's but thought maybe you were on vacation.
I should have taken a picture and showed my duct tape job to hold mirror together, everyone would have got a laugh out of that LOL.
cracks were too bad for tape, one ran from top to bottom down the middle,
and three others ran from almost top left corner down to bottom right corner. Way beyond any duct tape.

So is shipping out of the question? even with insurance?

What kind of weight can that wall support? have been looking at lowes, but mirrors look heavy and the wall is might thin.

When do you close for vacation?

Also having some Aqua Hot problems too. Unit has tripped on Hi-Temp three times so far, have been able to reset and all is well, but do have question for your engineer out there.
Question: Should the aqua hot expansion tank be mounted above the unit, so that the fluid runs from the tank into the unit? I have more fluid in the tank now than before. Expansion tank is (at cold) level is half way between cold line and hot line, and hose from unit to expansion tank half of the hose is not full of fluid. Should it be full?

thanks in advance..

I noticed the aquahot bin is kind of tight and the overflow bottle cant really be mounted high enough to give it positive drainage from the bottom of the can without making it impossible to fill.

That said I had some air bubbles in my line going to the bottle. As long as the level in the bottle is above the top of the tube, you should be able to bleed the trapped air out from the schrader valve thats right on top of the fitting as the tube goes into the aqua hot. I did that and my tube stays full of fluid now even though its flowing downhill a bit

Page 21 of the Service manual has some troubleshooting items. Mainly to test the high-limit t-stat.

Bclemens:
Page 24 of the service manual is what is going on " DC hi limit" thermostat was tripping.

I have spoken with AquaHot this morning and they think that I have air in the system, so they have got me on the right track. I have raised the expansion tank up 5" in the bay, and now did get some air out of the
Schrader value, they told me to keep doing it until all the air is out.

BTW thanks for getting me in touch with CJ, he called me first thing this AM and replacement of the mirror is underway.
Thanks again.
