Dynamax Fan-tastic vent dome switch

Hi All,
I have a 2009 Dynamax Dynaqust 340XL. I'm having problems with the
Fan-tastic Vent Model 6000A dome switch not working. Has anyone had this problem? And if so, can you tell me how you solved it.

I had those in my 2014 Thor, I ended up replacing both fans with the MaxxFan Deluxe, I liked having the rain cover built in.

I know that isnt the answer you were seeking, but the MaxxFan was a much better built fan, had no issues with them over 5 years between two RV’s.

I found an issue on a pretty new Fantastic fan....the fan will only work when the lid is open (which is also why I like the MaxxAir fan...it works no matter what). The Fantastic fan has a spring loaded switch in the lid. Even when new...the lid pushes on the switch at an angle and there was a little burr....it prevented the switch from extending at times (random) and so it would not work when the lid was open cause it still thought it was closed. Very frustrating. Cause, as soon as you try to test it for the next person, it would work.
