Dynamax Force Propane Quick Disconnect

Ok so I just figured out my Motorhome has a quick connect behind the propane tank up high. So it appears that this T connection is after the tank regulator. The propane line appears to be headed inside the coach and the quick connect is ready for a hose. So to take advantage of this did you run a new hose to the passenger side with some sort of mount? I'm assuming that the new hose end will have a female quick connect? So since it is after the regulator I need to remove the regulator on the Weber grill correct? Anyone have any pictures on the passenger side quick connect?

This is what the mount looks like behind the propane tank.

There is also a propane quick disconnect in the freshwater compartment. On the Isata 5.

They were sort of running them wherever it was convenient. Since then we have stated locating them where it made sense.

There's a lot of good information online for length and size of hose to use depending on which connect you use. Some rewuire larger diameter hose and an additional converter.

Ran a line straight over to the rear passenger compartment. I can grab a picture if you wish. Added a shut off to make life easier.

Now since I don't need a quick connect behind the propane tank, can I disassemble the fitting and run am line from the T? I would reuse the quick connect on the passenger side somewhere. I think this would work as long as I get the correct size fittings.

You can move the quick connect, that's certainly an option. I chose to go to a local propane dealer and have them make a longer hose for me to go from the quick connect to the grill. Either option will remedy the situation.

On my rig the quick connect is on the driver's side you know the exact opposite of where it is needed. A long hose would work but I'm not crawling under the rig each time and throwing the hose to the other side. I need to come up with a permanent mount on the passenger side.

Cool Additional large propane tank feeder

My Force 37BH is now in Dallas. It is a bit early but along the lines of the recent
propane question:
How does one attach/modify the propane assembly to accommodate an external
larger propane tank so the MH does not have to be moved to fill the propane tank every two weeks during the colder weather? I would like to put a 100lb
tank just outside the current propane tank compartment and use it for primary
heater feed thus keeping the smaller on-board tank in reserve. Anyone done this? Get the local propane company to re-do the propane lines upstream of the
on-board regulator??

Extend a stay. Puts a "T" in the line after the tank and before the coach regulator. You could put a quick connect in or just remove the plug and connect the hose like I do. Only use the on board for travel. Get where Im going and connect the tank.

With a hose long enough all you need to do is walk around the back and let out the slack as you go. Then pull it through once your on the other side. I wouldn't have suggested it if it required crawling of any type.

I put one of these before the regulator to cover use for a grill as well as adding an external tank in the winter
