Excited with the results, so I had to share.

On our Dynaquest XL, we do a rear rock guard that has our logo cut out of stainless, so you have black text on polished stainless. The issue we ran into, was that someone wanted a blackout package...which meant no chrome, no stainless. Black cut out of black seemed boring. So I asked about cutting that out of black, but back it with the reflective material.

This is with the flash off and flash on. Thought it turned out really cool.

This is just a sample, so "no, this will not be on your coach if you ordered a black out package", "no, we cannot change this or add this to an existing order". It is just something I am toying with. You would be able to buy this aftermarket from "Future Sales" if you like and they do custom stuff as well.

I think that is sweet. But I feel like the comment “no this will not be on your coach” was directed at me. I do have feelings you know.

lol...I don't think you did black out, just back wheels. But maybe in a subconscious round about way.

That does look really nice! I like the idea of reflective letters. What material is behind the reflective material? The cut out letters, reflective material, and then what? more stainless or aluminum. Just curious

So, it may come on a non blackout unit? Or did I read too much into that.

Its the weighted rubber rock guard behind the reflective material.

I have not thought much beyond "I need a rear rock guard for a black out package".

You said you put a rock guard on the Dynaquest with your logo.

Is the logo Dynamax or Dynaquest.

If Dynamax is it available for a 2018 DX3?

They could do brand specific...but we just have them designed with the Dynamax logo. So yes, you could put that on a DX3...in fact it is an option now.

Good question, can you order these rock guards from Dyanmax?

I would avoid the middle man. You can buy them from our supplier.

I did not see a picture, but if you let them know what you want, they can take care of you. I think most of the others are in the mid $300's.

I ordered the Dynamax rock guard as a factory installed option when I ordered my unit. The dealer price at time of order was $450, I'm sure the dealership makes a few bucks on it at that price. It looks like it would be easy to install yourself if you bought it direct from the supplier, so you would save a little after shipping cost.

Rock guard supplier

I have a question into the supplier for the rock guards, here is the latest from Future Sales:

Thank you for your email.

We recently started making a 9" DYNAMAX rock guard for the OEM directly, but I do not have one listed as an available aftermarket. Let me do a little checking and see what I can find out about making one available!

Thank you for your patience.

Just a heads up too...we only have this set up for the M2 chassis. We have not checked to see if this would work on the ram 5500. I'm sure you could make it work...but we haven't tried.

Hi Brian need your help once again.

Have been in contact with Michelle at Future Sales
she has some questions about mounting hardware as to what Dynamax uses so they can put together a kit that is specific for the Dynamax units.
this would be very helpful so that we who would like to add this to our units don't have to figure out how to mount.

Thanks,

Ken

I just shot them a picture of the mounting hardware...I've tried to get out there about 10 times now...it's like I'm a dog and the path to the plant was littered with tennis balls.

I am going to see if I can make this work on the Istata 5. If I can't, I will make someone a good deal at the Rally!
