Exciting things are in play at Dynamax

5 Series 4x4 chassis' started arriving, so those are finally starting to ship to dealers. We did drop the 22 gallon 2nd tank to make room for the added weight, but I think 52 gallons is more than I want to drive without a break.

E450 has sprouted in the wild. We know how poor the ride can be on that ancient suspension, so we will feature a Dynaride suspension (developed for us by MorRyde) along with a Helwig sway bar. We'll also be dialing in the alignment much tighter than the Ford specs...I think most that have used the alignment specs I posted previosuly found them to work out pretty well. I can't take any credit there, those were developed over several years by an RV rental account I had and their local alignment shop to prevent tire wear that was showing when the units arrived from the factory. So while ride is what most of us care about...its a win-win.

Freightliner makes a really nice M2 in 4x4. Not sure that 40' offroad would be a good idea, but there would be people willing to drop the extra coin for the traction.

Body Paint

Love what I can see of the paint job. Is that going to be a new option on all of the 5's?

Great idea 4x4! I wish more RV's had it. Those of us in snowy- mountainous locations would appreciate it.

Brian, we will be in Elkhart 8/25. Can you arrange a factory visit for us to see the I-5?

You can email Zac, zgipson@forestriverinc.com, he coordinates the plants tours.

They normally go out at 1pm each day if we have people signed up. We can't always guaranty that we have finished units on hand...as soon as they are done we normally ship them. We always have units in various states of production however.

Looking for a 4X4 option in the Isata 5

I would love to see one of these 4X4 Isata 5 models. Will you have any on the west coast anytime soon?

What are the chances that you will have a model with a washer dryer option?

Ben

To be honest, its not al that exciting. The 4X4 looks just like the 4x2, except for the little 4x4 in the paint.

Probably no chance for a washer/dryer due to weight and length restrictions. Although I know someone that put a combo unit in a mercedes Sprinter once.

Hi Brian, 4X4 is exciting to me. Not only do I need for parking at my house but I do go into some pretty exciting places with my current 4X4 rig. While the washer is not a deal breaker it would be a deal sealer for my wife.

I'm curious Brian. What model is the E450 chassis for?

Any additional ground clearance for the 4x4? Same tires? Thanks.
