OK..let's say evenly distributed and adequately secured from movement. So a few bowling balls in a bag would probably be ok.

And yes, it is sad. Had a customer one time complain about frame issues. I happened to track them down on Facebook and saw a picture of their unit with a full on motorcycle carrier on the back. 5,000 lbs hitch. Which means 500 lbs tongue weight. The weight of the carrier alone (with ramp) was about 500lbs. With a full dress Harley on the back. "Oh, we never carried the Harley on there" of course you didn't.

Want to see who really loves you? Put your dog in one compartment and your wife in the other. Lock them up for two hours. Then see which one is happy to see you when you let them out.
