Force HD Freightliner Issues

We have a 2016 Force HD TS and have had some issues. It seems everything has issues these days...Took it to the Freightliner dealer recommended by the FR dealer. Absolutely horrible service and they did not fix even one of the issues that it was taken in for. They did do quite a bit of damage while not fixing anything. I was told that an alignment is not covered since something could have been hit at mile one. I get that, but our unit has pulled to the right since we took delivery of it. BClemmons, any input?

They also took out all of the cameras when "fixing" an electrical problem. The electrical issue is still there. Does anyone know of a good Freightliner dealer in the southeast? We are in the north Georgia mountains but don't mind traveling if we can get the unit repaired.

We have every unit aligned once its gone through the upfit and then we still do our own test drive. If it was from day one, hopefully you noted this with the dealer. I can check and see what the policy is on that.

Please note the dealer you took it to so we can have our local guy out the records. If they pulled the video switcher when checking on the electrical, something might have been pulled loose or they blew a fuse. I'll check with my guys on location.

This is part of the camera system located in an overhead compartment above passengers seat. Remove 4 screws there it is, on mine anyway. But, this is not the only route for camera's. Not sure what Freightliner would be doing in this compartment anyways.

I would ask too? What freightliner issues are you having? And BTW sorry your having issues, I'm sure they can be worked through.

Other than our local Freightliner dealer (who is great) we don't get a ton of direct contact or feedback. In most cases the service has been pretty good.

If you post your ZIP, I can ask Truck Centers if they have an recommendations in that area.

Unit pulls right, noted right after pick up.
Steering loose and thumps in floor, Freightliner confirmed it is loose but did not correct.
Fault code comes up about every other time the unit is started.
ABS flashes and intermittently stays illuminated.
Cab steps are rusting (may be dealer issue).
Dash blacks out intermittently. They did find and said they fixed a bad ground.
Since Freightliner worked on unit, the dash now rattles.
They neglected to reinstall dash mic.
Radio, nav and cameras used to work every once in awhile, now they only work if the coach is turned on. Guess they changed the feed? Didn't have to have the coach on before to use the radio and nav.
Since they worked on the unit, none of the cameras work.

We are coming to the rally, are these issues that can be addressed there?

Thanks for your help.

Zip is 30533. Peach State is no longer an option. They did much more damage than good.

Thanks!

We can probably set up something with Hill Truck if you are in the area. What they can't fix (not their part) we can.

Took my Forester MBS to Peach State Freightliner for warranty work. They were useless for me too. Couldn't even balance the tires on a Sprinter chassis - they don't have the equipment! Hard to believe since they have a parking lot full of Sprinters. I haven't found anyone really competent in the Atlanta area on Sprinter service.

I agree with Kenny kustom, it can wait until you get back. Thank you very much, you are one of the reasons we stayed with Forest River!
