Force HD questions...

Hi All!

So I've been researching forever, poring over the details, comparing features, thinking about what we want, how we'll use it….FINALLY…..it's time to buy. I can't wait!!

We looked closely at the Seneca but I think a Force HD just has it beat on so many fronts. Especially the towing and power….so we've decided on the 2018 Force HD 37BH. Plenty of room for the kids, plenty of torque for me.

I have a few questions - maybe somebody can help me out?
  • The website says there are 2 group 31 AGM batteries - is there space for more?
  • Do the air ride swivel cab seats come with all Force HDs, or is that a further option?
  • Can you open the fridge when the slide outs are in? Does this change depending on which fridge you get?
  • Does getting the RV fridge vs. the residential fridge change anything else? (Pantry, etc)

Our current toy hauler has the gas/electric fridge and we use the gas all the time, so although I like the extra space in the residential fridge, I worry about powering it from batteries if the genny is off. Any thoughts on this are appreciated as well.

Cheers,
Greg

1. The website will be updated soon. We are now installing (2) 4D AGM's as standard.
2. Air ride, swivel comes standard on the HD model.
3. Fridge. Yes, No
4. I'm 99.9% sure it does not. I am about to board a flight...but you could search for 37BH with RV fridge and see some pictures of existing units. the 16cu ft fridge is not small...so the 12cu ft RV fridge, should fit in the same spot.

Congrats on your decision and welcome to the forum!!! Every time I read that someone did a lot of research and decided on a Dynamax makes me even more confident we made the right decision. We also looked hard at Seneca and came to the same conclusions. Can't compare to Force or DX3.

Expecting delivery of our 2018 DX3 37BH in April. Beyond excited!

B. Clemens, thanks for all the info, that helped quite a bit. On the last question, I haven't been able to find any pics of that RV fridge in an 37BH, but I'll take your 99.9% sure answer - it's not a deal breaker either way.

On another note - does anybody know of a dealer near central Texas that has a Force HD 37BH we could walk through? Nobody seems to have them in stock, 2017 or 2018. Kinda puts a damper on my plans, but we'll see. I'd just really like to get a feel for the layout and storage before we pull the trigger.
The dealer we've talked to so far doesn't have any 2017s and won't have a 2018 until June...

Longhorn or Motorhome Specialist always have units coming in. Even if one is pre-sold, they normally let you take a look.

Thanks for the help. I'm excited to say we've put down our deposit on a 2018 Force HD 37BH!

Now, the waiting begins. Are we there yet?

Ha...seriously. Looks like we share an interest in wheelin', so you'll know where I'm coming from: the kids want to do "one last trip" in the old toy hauler, so we'll head out to the local 4 wheel drive park and play in the dirt with the RZR and dirt bikes. That will pass the time nicely. (Might be a few trips out there, honestly.) Next purchase: Jeep!
