Appreciate the heads up about the AC Fan blades. I checked both AC's on our 2015 DX3 and found Blades (1472A504). Both looked good, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and listen to the noise (as indictated by Huser). It may be that in the Northwest cooler climates (less sun) the plastic blades may do fine. If someone has a different opinion, I would like to here it.......Bob

I think the "A" series fans were the six blade fans and were pretty good, but, loud.. thats why they went to the three blade. I didn't hear any noise, I think mine blew when I was away.. kinda sudden. You may be fine. At least your aware of it now. I called, they're taking care of it.. the end result is what matters to me. I'll fix myself.

When my fan went, it also took out the isolation mounts.

To replace them, I took the A/C mounting bolts out and lifted the back of the A/C unit just enough, about 6" to 8", to get my hand and a wrench under it to take the old bolts out and put the new mounts in. Not hard at all - except the A/C mounting bolts are about 8" long and having to work over my head, and I didn't have a socket to fit my drill motor!
