I had read Freightliner recommends to fill the passenger tank first, it must have to do with the transfer tube & how it works. If you are filling both at the same time at a duel pump it may not matter. If I find the link to that I will post it.

M2 has a half inch trans tube between tanks so I hear. Upgrade would be 1 inch to allow the fuel to level real time.
