Ice Maker in 9 cu. ft. 2-way Reefer

Yes, the 2-way reefers do have an ice maker. It surprised me too when I took possession. I didn't see any literature pertaining to that reefer. Surprised the sales people and the technicians, as well. My wife said she read some document/material that mentioned a ice maker heating element provision to prevent freeze damage. Until I figure that one out, the freezer and reefer doors will remain open! Thank you!
