I can answer the last one. The Force (HD or not) has never had an all-electric option, due to at least the water heater and furnace. I don't believe there was ever an option for an induction cooktop either.

Ok good to know. The last question is the dry weight of the Force vs HD and DX3. I thought I read somewhere that the dry weight of the Force is around 19,500lbs. If it's true, that would make my 10k towing and 3-4k plus water, septic and fuel at the higher end of the 33k rating. Sounds like I am going to have to move up to the DX3 to get all the options we are after. I just wish the DX3 didn't have the tile in it. Tile is such a bad idea in any motorhome.

Depending on the year, the DX3 did not always have tile. At one point it was LVT. The current DX3 is now LVT as well, but a new version that has crushed stone in it, so it is more staple at crazy temps (which can wreck old style LVT).

Also, take a regular Force out of the equation. Force have limited towing. It only had a 28K GCWR. To tow 10k, you need to be on a DX3 or Force HD really.

Brian, do you happen to remember which years the DX3s had tile flooring?

Thank you! The only other comparable bunkhouse rig that would work for us is the Isata 5 35db. If we were pulling roughly 8k lbs is there an extreme difference between the Isata 5 and the DX3 37BH? The cost is keeping us around the Isata 5 and Force price range so I really don't want to spend the extra money if we ultimately won't see a major difference when it comes to MPG, performance and resell.

The thing you have to remember is 8k of towing, normally equates to 800lbs or more (depending on what is being towed). 800lbs off of the CCC. And the DB is normally the one that you need the most CCC on.

There IS an extreme difference between the Isata 5 and DX3...but as you can see, the price reflects that as well.

Ok so does that mean we really need to step up to a DX3? We have a 1991 Suburban with a cummins engine and upgraded axles (roughly 7k-8k lbs but I have not weighed it yet). We are set on this coming with us as we full time RV. I really like to be in the $120-$150k range on a newish rig. Most of the DX3s that we can find are in the $170k+ range. I haven't seen any other product that would meet our needs unless you have an idea?

Well...are you flat towing or trailer towing? Flat towing, then you have ZERO on your hitch and so you can tow 8k with the Isata 5.

That is awesome! I have one more question for you guys. With the slide closed how much room is there right behind the front seats? We are thinking of adding 2 double sprinter van seats with shoulder belts in that area facing each other. Basically creating a second dinette. Or adding 2 stationary and 2 rotating single seats so that they can be part of the living room. My wife and I have never driven a motorhome but the thought of not having shoulder belts bolted into the chassis is a bit worrisome. I wish there was a crew cab version of the DX3.

Our BH model has plenty of room behind the drivers seat with the slides in. We removed the loveseat and added a swivel recliner.

Could you do me a huge favor? Measure the distance between the wall and the couch when the slide is closed and also from the stairs to the back of the passenger seat. I am looking at two Ford Transit dual seats which are 31" wide. Wondering if I can fit two side by side or one in front of the other where the small couch or fireplace sits. I can't seem to find one of these near us so I am unable to measure to see if this is possible.

From the couch on the drivers side slide to the passenger wall is about 56” with slide closed, we have the theatre seats, not sure if the other couch is the same depth. 53” from the small step up under the passenger seat to the step-well.
