Hitch for Dynamax

Does anybody have a source for this massive receiver??? I'm wanting to start towing my vehicle and no one has anything to fit in this receiver... no adapters, nothing. I even contacted Pullrite and sent a picture with a part number and was told they have no idea!! I took this picture from a Dynamax in a parking lot here in Nashville. Thanks

Is it YOUR Dynamax sitting in a parking lot in Nashville?

We used to run a 2 5/16" ball, but if anyone wanted to tow their car, we kept a few 2" balls and then no one would bring them back. So on our new ones I had them install a "double ball"...I'll see if I can get a pic.

JUST an FYI for those people that would like to complain about the ball dragging...we did it as a courtesy, once you figure out which ball you will need you are welcome to get a single ball that would not interfere with your ground clearance Or retain the one that gives you maximum flexibility.

No, it was someone else's DX3 at Camping World awaiting some type of repair. This isn't a ball issue. It's the receiver, its 3" instead of the typical 2"- 2 1/2" .. I will be using a tow bar with I believe 2" insert.

Yep like that! Thanks. Not sure why Pull Rite couldn't direct me on this... said she never heard of Dynamax.. I said thats okay, they probably never heard of you either... :-) thanks for the info. I thought I had every adapter known to man.. guess not.

My Hitch drags everywhere, it looks too me that the the Hitch its self can be be raised a few inches by un-bolting it from the frame bracket and re-drilling the bolt holes a few inches higher.
Again another Factory over site, they knew it was too low when it left Indiana.

I'm not sure I agree with the "they knew it was too low". They're all that height. Normally the air bags raise the back end. And just as an FYI, we can't just drill new holes. That is a tested/rated hitch assembly. We can certainly resubmit a new assembly for testing.

I think walmart has a reducer down to 2in, My Dynaquest has one ,and it's a Reese.Here is a pic , best I can get as I have an anti rattler bolted to both,

I would first check ride height to make sure its correct. Perhaps the specs could be made available. The rod/valve is adjustable, however dont do it yourself it could get ugly real quick!

The hitch is way too low for my trailers that I pull. I have a 24' enclosed car hauler, 20' flat bed car hauler and a horse trailer. If I tried to pull any of the three I would be riding on the closest axle and not sitting level at all.

I looked high and low for a 3" adjustable billet hitch or even a 3" to 2 1/2" reducer so I could use my nice 2 1/2" billet adjustable hitch. Couldn't find anything but the 3" to 2" so I got that plus a 2" adjustable hitch. Tried the reducer sleeve tonight and didn't fit so I ground the powder coat off of the receiver until it did. My 2" should be here this week so I can get the trailer on and set proper ride height.

We've asked Pull-Rite to add holes if they can and raise as high as possible.

Ok, when I got the DX3 running, the rear end aired up so it wasn't as bad as sitting in the shop. The rear raised 4.25" when running. I didn't measure how much I raised it with the hitch but I guessing another 3-4". I was sitting pretty level. Once I get the trailer loaded I'll see if I need to moving it up or down a notch.

Be careful with the Aluminum Hitch, I have one and had it was maxed out on the 10k limit and 1k tongue on my Dyna and it was bending pretty bad, I ended up buying a forged 3" with a 3' rise.

I shouldn't have much issue with my loads in this trailer but I am looking at moving to a stacker. Where did you get yours or did you have it made?? I've been looking for a 3". An adjustable would be great.

I'm looking at your nice setup. And, I am wondering how you was able to determine max tongue weight for this setup

My 24ft enclosed CarMate trailer needs to be raised approximately 1 inch.

How were you able to raise the height of the rear MH axle?

I'm only pulling 3.5-5K cars, tractors or lighter rzrs in my trailer so tongue weight isn't an issue. The trailer usually pulls well as long as its level. I was initially measuring the hitch with the coach sitting in my shop and the rear air was all gone. Once I started the coach and the rear aired up, I saw about a 4.25" rise in the hitch. I only need to raise the hitch up 3-4" to get my trailer level.
