It is not the icemaker itself that needs to be winterized, it is the solenoid valve and lines that run to the icemaker that need to be cleared. You can manually cycle the icemaker with a compressor attached to the city water inlet to clear the lines, but you need to find out the idiosyncrasies of your unit to figure out how to do this.
Rather than resort to this process, I leave the reefer running and leave the compressor attached overnight. I manually purge the water dispenser and the icemaker will do enough of its own cycles overnight to clear itself (you will probably find some really small ice cubes that confirm the air has reached the ice maker.) I then close the "popup" valve that feeds the reefer, remove the water filter and take it indoors and then pump RV antifreeze through the rest of the system.
