Inside Ceiling Outside Cap

My inside ceiling is separating from the seam daily. I have to press it under the seam strip. While driving the cap seems to be creaking loudly. Getting worse daily. Any solution for the inside seam or separation of the outside cap if it occurs?

This is a 2017 Dynaquest

1. depends on what you mean. Its soft touch foam, laminate to lauan. So it could be the vinyl shrinking coming out or its the panel. Picture would help

2. Depending if you have a cab over or non cab over...I assume being an XL it is the non-cabover since we didnt start that until later (I think). So it might just need a wider seam strip.

3. inside seam separation does not mean outside cap separation. Outside cap, mounts and fastens differently than the inside portion.

In theory, but without a picture, I couldn't tell you what to order or if it is needed.

That is a vinyl wrapped T-molding. It actually snaps into a track.

We don't carry anything larger than 1" (which is shown), but they do make 1.5" versions in white.

You might be table to take the trim off and maybe tape ti down into place, then snap it back on. I have some white electrical tape would would add just enough length to keep it under wraps and not really stick out.
