Isata 3 24FW. Second rear view lcd screen

Removed the radio bezel. Removed temperature control module beneath xite radio. 4 screws
With flashlight I looked for blue wire rear left radio. Blue wire is labeld "power on", blue wire is for power attenna connection but is not used.
Blue wire about 6 inch long. 12 V +
Looked for single red rca connector
cable behind radio.
Connected ground wire under driver side dash brought ground wire up behind radio.
Connected supplied lcd screen power connection wires to ground and blue 12 volt wire. Plugged in power extension cable.
Disconnected xite and red camera rca connector, plugged piggyback rca extension cable connector in to xite rca video connector and plugged red camera rca connector into piggyback connector. Only used one rca piggyback connector on extension cable.
Fed both cables underneath dash removed front window pillar cover.
Run wires up pillar into front edge plastic roof panel at top window.
Attached phone swivel mount to dome light cover and mounted lcd screen. Plugged in lcd screen pClick image for larger version

A few more pictures of install

I did this install yesterday in about 2 hours. Well worth the small cost and effort - especially if you are going to tow a toad. Only suggestion I might make it to leave the camera unplugged from radio since it really isn't needed. That would allow xite to display navigation at all times and avoid switching to camera when blinkers are on. Isata FW3 Camera Display addition.pdf
