Isata 3- behind the radio

I have a 2017 Isata 3 on a 10/16 MBZ 3500. The dash radio is a Sony XAV-602BT.

I pulled the unit from the dash and found this connector hanging. Can anybody identify it?Click image for larger version

Thanks, that was my guess too. I’ve been looking but haven’t found a reference to it.

That makes sense but I found a dipole antenna in the “A” pillar that is currently connected to the radio. I thought I read that it was a Sprinter factory part. Is it instead installed by Dynamax?

No, that dipole is a Dynamax part. the Mercedes antenna is a small fin, roof mount, that obviously can't mount on the roof of the cab.
