Isata 3 Tire Balancing Beads

I have a vibration on our Dynamax between 45 and 55 miles per hour. Talked with the local tire shop and he suggested using the Balance Beads. We have never used them before, wondering if anyone has had any experience using these beads?
Thanks
Dave

Not sure of your problem... I would suggest seeing if the tire is "round" or "cupped" or "scalloped" or what ever might make it shake.

I have read that most tire manufacturers DO NOT warranty a tire with beads. Do your research.

I would PM Wmtire if I wanted to ask someone who knew...or ask a tire expert. Tireman9 is another excellent source of info. Good luck to you.

No experience with the beads. I had a vibration on mine and a tire shop balanced them using the appropriate weights. Smooth ride now. If you have the aluminum wheel option check to see if there are any weights on them, mine had none.

My 2016 Aprilia Factory Tuono has the balance beads in the new rear tire I just got. I have not run them up to max speed of 165mph yet but they feel good from 0-100mph so far. I don't know how they do it but they work for my motorcycle rear. I know for sure my rim and tire are perfectly round.

I tried them in my front motorcycle tire and it vibrated badly. Removed them and rebalanced with conventional weights and problem solved. That’s my experience with them.

By the way, my Isata 3rw came with aluminum wheels and it vibrated all the way home from Texas. I balanced the wheels on our Hunter spin balancer with stick on weights and problem solved. The aluminum wheels had no weights on them from the factory.

I've used them in my Honda Gold Wing both front and back for years and they do work. Some tire manufactures don't approve them. As long as you follow the directions and use the proper amount you should be good. It's kind of like oil and oil filters. Not everyone likes them.
