Isata 3fw slide roller.

I only have one roller under my full slide, its below dinette seat closest to storage cabinet.
When the slide is all the way in, the roller makes a deep indentation in the floor covering.
I am concerned about this.
What is the solution to remedy this issue.Click image for larger version

Look for holes on the bottom of the full wall slide where therehad been additional slides? My 24FW has three. Just looked at them this morning to make sure they were in good shape and making even contact.

I'm getting a similar indentation on my vinyl flooring from the slide in the living area. You say the rollers are doing this and the fix is to glue these track things on the vinyl?

The floor protectors just go down when you want to pull your slide in and store when not in use. I have seen them in Newmars. Only Lippert could charge $49 for two pieces of plastic....

I dropped off the isata 3 at DeMartini RV in January to
adjust 5 outside slide rollers only 3 carried the slide out weight. After several weeks
it was completed and ready for pick up. Looked under slide with cell phone today and took picture and see mounting holes for missing roller. We went camping and noticed the indentation in flooring. Feels like foam backer is damaged but will
leave slide open to see if floor improves with out roller resting on it. My unit came with 2 rollers now has 1.

I just had my floor reinforced and additional slide rollers installed on my 2018 Isata 3 under warranty. There were structural issues from the factory.

hhl - I had the same issue as you do...one roller under the left corner of the platform where the sofa or dinette is. It was pushing the flooring up into a mound. I took it to the dealer and they said it appeared a roller had also been under the right corner of the platform but was not there anymore. They took the roller out from under the left corner and put one under the middle of the platform. Then the right corner dropped down when I moved the slide in & out and scratched the flooring. I did what bclemens recommended and trimmed down the platforms front fascia board. That fixed the scratching but I'm not comfortable with having just one roller supporting the platform.

jrlepin - was it the floor of the platform that was reinforced and rollers added to? What was involved in doing that and did a dealer do it?

Thanks for any info you can give me. I don't feel like I have a substantial fix.

My I3 has same issue. Took it in while under warranty but was told it was fine. It does work fine and no issues with damage to floor so maybe it is fine. Having two rollers not touching is a concern.

The structure under the floor had to be secured per FR specifications and flooring reinstalled. This was done by my local dealer. It sounded as if FR was aware of the problem with the Isata 3. It took longer to get new floor covering than it did to do the work. Roller were added also. I believe I have three now.

This thread had me checking my Isata 3 24FW. 5 rollers, all seem to work appropriately. I have noticed that the flooring gets a pretty nasty black smudge in front of the closet when the slide is either coming or going, but all seems fine and I'm feeling lucky.

Please note.....its not "just" one roller supporting the slide.

Please remember...there are rollers under the slide every 18" or so...maybe its 36" on the OUTBOARD side of the slide. That is what the slide mfg requires.

WE add inboard rollers, just to keep the slide from tipping. Our slides are way deeper than most (18-20" vs. 30-36"). So they are there, simply to support the edge, not support the weight of the slide.

Same goes for the outside...I know some people get concerned that the outside rollers are not touching...but in many cases it is because the inside roller or bed deck is doing all the work. If you shim the outside rollers...in many cases you can then put the whole thing in a bind.
