Isata 5 DB Shower question

Hello, I am a new member here. We purchased a 2017 Isata 5 DB last summer. We LOVE it. All of it - except for the shower curtain! For lack of a better term the shower curtain attacks me. It totally clings to me the whole time I am trying to shower. I think I have seen glimpses in pictures of the other Isata 5 model (I believe it is DS) that looks like it has the same shower with a shower door enclosure. Is it possible to have this door enclosure installed in our model?

Thank You

My Isata 3 has the same problem. I'm thinking of making a removable baton like in a sail. Two baton pockets and thin wood baton. What do you think? Any other ideas?

Please see this post hyperlinked below line #34. The DX3 and 36DB have different size showers. Why not try a cloth style shower curtain like they have in nice hotels like the Westin? They look great and won't stick to you.

Try a Curved rod as found in some motels. that should solve your problem. Home Depot

I had the same problem on our old TT and was able to purchase a length of track and some hangers that were the same style as the old track. Carefully bent the track so it was out from the tub/shower and fastened it up. Worked very well and used the same shower curtain and rollers. I think I spent under $20 for the track, hangers, and a couple extra rollers. Didn't even need some of the stuff because the track ends used the same holes as the old track and the bends provided enough stability to keep everything up with only one brace.

How about some 3/8" or 1/2" PVC tubing. Thinwall irrigation pipe.

Why reinvent the wheel. They have curved curtain rods at HD, Lowes and hardware stores.

Because you have no idea about what we are talking about. This is a shower in a Isata 3 24RW. It has a curved shower curtain bar already. This is for the center of the curtain where it sucks in while in the shower.

I would go to a glass co that builds custom showers and have one built. I’ve had one custom built for the last house I had.

Dunno, but it seems to be the same shape but it may be smaller in the Isata 3 RW.

Update. Alligator clips work great! Curtain no longer attacks me. Help needed with replacing the lever for turning on shower now. He bought new control knobs because the lever is so easy to bump in the small shower and you get a blast of cold or hot or shut off water. Is it possible to change this? When he took faceplate off there was no plumbing visible?Click image for larger version

I found a easier solution, buy a cheap toilet plunger and stick it in the middle against the closed curtain. The handle keeps the curtain away and from attacking you... [emoji23]

I had a few other ideas. Magnets is one, I see what looks like magnets sewn into the curtain. Strategically placed magnets along the bottom would keep the curtain in place. Another idea is to get a length of wood dowel, set a jig to bend it to the same radius as the curtain, urethane it and mount it on a rotating bracket against the back wall, curtain side. When you get in you would drop it down and it would have a bracket it would rest in on the front side. Again no more curtain attack.
