Isata 5 Series 30FW "Live Through" from the rally trip

We're in the process of creating "walk throughs" of all our floor plans for people to shop and see things, when maybe they can't see them on a dealers lot. We figured it was a perfect time to do one, while actually camping.

Warning...35 minutes long.

Great walk thru video Brian. Worth watching.

Thanks Brian! Thatís a great overview...been waiting for that from someone. Just out of curiosity how did you find the toilets functionality? Any issues like those in other threads? Any chance of getting the macerating toilet in the 30FW?

We've been traveling in our 30FW since May 26th and have had zero problems with the black tank. Two of us. Followed the forum advice to use the dawn/calgon solution with plenty of water. Only dump when it reaches 2/3 full. Extremely relieved no issues!!!

We LOVE our 30FW. Only a very few small issues on our list of things to have the dealer fix when we finish our maiden voyage. Nothing significant so far.
When we get home, I'll research and make a change to the mattress in ours. I think a mattress topper might make it function better for us.

Zero issues with the toilet whatsoever. I didn't do anything special (geo method or otherwise) other than make sure the bowl had good water in it BEFORE #2. But I also had a 12 year old with me who is notoriously rough on the plumbing and toilet paper. I also confirmed that my tank had the packaging deformity. It's not the tank itself I don't think, its how the supplier ships them that can create a sag. I told them not to try and fix it...I would use it and see what happens.

I think just the normal method of putting more water in the bowl ahead of time is the key. Also keeps the bowl cleaner.

We're going to test out a direct discharge macerator for someone that special ordered. But we won't run another one like that until we run it and test it. I would have no issue with gravity as it is much easier to resolve problems when they arise.

Nice work, Brian! And great to put a face with your name. That I-5 would be a great upgrade from our SunSeeker 2400W!

Being the one who started the thread on the poop pyramid, I just want to chime in to echo Susie and Brian. A little calgon and a lot of water in the bowl and no more pyramid! Didn't have to do anything to the tank or the pipe from the toilet to the tank despite only 2 inches from the end of the pipe to the tank. I will say that I do put my post pee paper into the trash but DH and I both put the "dirty" paper into the toilet, and still no problem.

We have a mattress pad and LOVE the mattress. And we are coming from a sleep number bed in our last RV. That says something!
