Isata and Tankless Water heater
Brian, any chance to have the option for a regular water heater? My current (non FR coach) has a second gen Girard tankless and while it sips propane, it does not lend itself to dry/boondocking at all. This is due to the need for constant flow through the heating chamber. Trying to be a good citizen mindful of the number of gallons of fresh water on board by taking a navy shower will result in you getting scalded. Conversly if you let it run for a shower, you need to be a speed demon or you will quickly consume the water in your tanks, making even flushing the toilet less fun....
Heading over to Lazy Days to check out the Force and Isata offerings.
Thanks,
Carl B

We run a Truma on all the new stuff shipping now. I'd recommend you head over to their site and get a little more info there. The regular water heater just does't fit.
The Truma is more of a Hybrid. There is a mixing chamber that works perfectly for a NAVY shower. Same concept as ON-demand, but has a small (liter?) reservoir to prevent scalding. We have many a happy boondocker running those. Plus it is NOT constantly heating the water.

good videos here.

We do not run the return loop at this time...we use the AquaGo Comfort. Not the plus. We may look at that for 2018, but I figured with that application it would be heating the water all the time, which is not as dry camp friendly.

Outstanding!! That looks like a much better solution than what the other manufacturer foists on their consumers.

At about 3 times the cost...I would certainly hope so.
PS. If you register the Truma online, I think they double your warranty as well.
We have some DB's building, I'll see if I can have one of my guys do a video walk through. Nothing fancy mind you...just a quick jaunt of the inside and outside.

That would be awesome, the DB video walk through.
Haven't been in the Force Bunkhouse models yet, but I saw a video that showed the rear bedroom access is not really meant for those who like to eat a lot... At least with the slides in. Want to see how the DB stacks up in this area as well. We did see the DX3 bunkhouse today and my wife liked the way that the bunks were designed with the partial enclosure. We really need the extra bed, so the DX3 is not an option for us at the moment.
Thanks,

The DB is tight as well with slides in...nature of the beast, so I added dual entry into the bathroom. So instead of going through the hall, you would go through the bathroom. That's really the only way we could get everything crammed in there how we wanted (with a sofa for the kids area that made into a bed)
