Congrats!! And welcome from Maryland. You will love the ride. We traded our class A because I (the DW lol) was too scared to drive the A. I do drive the DX3 (sometimes) and we are in the same boat as you. Anchor kid sophomore in college etc. We're not ready or know where we would want a vacation home either, so the DX3 it is and we love taking it everywhere!!
Also not retired yet either, so weekends and as many trips as we can!!!
Congratulations!! Always nice to get a new RV and take it through its paces.

Never Enough Time Camping!!
Congratulations and welcome from California. I find myself looking for any excuse to drive our DX3. "Oh look it needs fuel. Lets drive it to fuel station. Oh, its been sitting for 2 weeks, can't have that. lets drive it, you know, to get the fluids moving". These are the in between the weekend camping trips and long vacations. We've had ours for just over a year now and have put over 21,000 miles on her. Yeah we like to use it!
