Got home from a short trip and unhooked the Toad. Unhooked the tow bar and it slipped when i was carrying it. It slid down my paint in what seemed to be slow motion. I wont unhook that close again. Dont be me. ArmorAll wont fix this[emoji20]

take it to a paint professional, bet he can clean it up, you'll still know it's there but it'll look better.

That stinks. Looks like it may be an easy fix compared to some of the accidents that have happened to some of the others.
Looks like it barely scratched the fiberglass?

Just barely scratched the fiberglass. I took it to several paint shops within 30 minutes of doing it but unfortunately not many people want to work on large motorhomes. Waiting on a few phone calls as we speak. I was going to try to just put some touch-up on it until I can get it in and get it handled professionally. Not sure what touch-up to use. Guess I need to do some research.

Fibreglass repair work/paint work should be normal work for anyone that works on Corvettes....and they’re usually pretty fussy people about their toys too.
Just sayin’

I would leave it the way it is till it is fixed properly. The temporary repair can cause more damage. Try a boat repair or truck place.

I did this same thing with a utility trailer. I was going to load up a scooter to take it and get a tire repaired, and somehow I missed the step where you make sure you secure the coupler latch. When the scooter hit the back of the trailer, it popped off the ball and pushed the trailer right in to the back of my truck. DOH!!
On the good side, whenever I hook up that trailer now, that image pops right up in my head. I will not miss that step again.

True..I drove my brand new triple black vette from Texas to my California home and the big rigs tore up my hood. My new hood looked better the new car. Just need to look around as my favorite shop has now retired.

You should have received some touchup when you bought your I5. Ours was in the black bag that contains the manuals. It certainly is available from Dynamax parts through your dealer.

Went to pick up our new 5er years back. Less than 1/4 mile down the road from the RV dealer turned right and brushed the guard rail. You wanna see a grown man cry? LOL

I did receive that paint. I have not looked at it. For some reason I thought it had to be mixed or diluted and was to be used on big jobs like when I have this fixed. I wouldn't mind touching it up lightly while we travel next month.

One more suggestion. Get a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and with water just work the area gently. You would be amazed how it cleans up scatches. It will not be 100%, but much inproved based on my experience.
