Shut the door harder or use the deadbolt with a key.....works for me

Batteries? Or is it a hard wired system? Make sure contacts are clear at the jamb side base of the door.

Although, back 2015 I think they were battery operated.

If the electric door mechanism is battery operated then they are some very good batteries. Mine is 4 years old and they have not been changed.
Most often the problem is that we didn’t shut the door hard enough.

Thanks for the response...batteries located where? Removing inside door panel? Or keypad itself which has silicone all around it?

I have a ‘14 DX3 and have not changed any batteries for the door mechanism or the key fob.

Not sure either, that's why I added the question mark but formatting on my phone must have screwed up.
Sorry, I'll hide under a rock

I see a ? mark at the end of your sentence. It just happens to be included in your URL. Maybe I can fix it.

Now... try this. I put the ‘?’ outside the HTML URL delimiters.

Edit: we still don’t know the answer to what now shows as a question.

2018 is hardwired and the contacts are at the bottom of jam. Looks like two small round magnets. Mine had two screws on the outside to pull unit. Has two plugs to unplug and wait a few minutes and then plug back together. Clean of the contacts on both side real good.

Thanks for trying to fix it, I'll try to rephrase.

If the door lock is from RV Lock www.rvlock.com and you can't figure it out on your own then try calling their customer service @ 1 888 316-9899.
Their technical service is outstanding, when our door lock died it took them 2 minutes to identify the problem and after 5 minutes I received a message saying the part, in our case the control board, had shipped.

I had a similar problem with my older current keypad and fob. My fob & pad would quit working after a rain or high humidity. I knew it had a contact on the door jam so I cleaned it nice and shiny but still the problem would come back after a rain. So I removed the contact mounting block and I was able to adjust the spring tension to apply more pressure and it has worked consistently every time since. An adjustment of contact pressure on door contacts may help your problem.

Update... pad is working again! I cleaned the door contacts as suggested. They did have a tad of rust on the surface. Cleaned and added a light coat of dielectric grease. Thanks folks.. 👌😎
