Logo coming off

Hi Brian, pieces of logo on rear of coach coming off. Do I call parts, can you bring one to TN? Don't like my baby looking less than pristine, let me know how to get one and thanks very much for your valuable time....as always

I PM'd you.

But just to update all...they think the sticker can get hot and it is making the air inside that pocket expand and swell so it starts pulling away at the adhesive. Once that happens, water/dirt get under the edges, Rinse repeat.

I will bring a sample with me of a different version to test out.

I looked at mine this weekend and it's painted on, don't have a picture but I'll be in Anchor Down Thursday.

We used to paint them on, but wanted something more dimensional going forward.

Mine's already coming off as well, they must use the same adhesive as the drip guard over the entrance door...sad that the Dynamax Emblem only held for 5 months...it's like it was stuck on with marshmellow...

Can you imagine the emblem falling off a $70,000-$100,000 Cadillac, Vette, Truck, etc? after only a few months ownership?

And then continuing to happen again and again because the Maker refuses to rectify the issue?

Doesn't even make sense to me...it makes Dynamax look very cheap...

lol....

As I told everyone at the rally, I brought this up to our supplier. The adhesive is fine...what is happening, is there is an air gap in the logo to make it puffy. When that heats up it can make that part swell. When that happens, it can physically pull the part OFF of the adhesive backing. The adhesive will stay on the coach...but then it comes loose between the plastic part and the adhesive (so the mfg side, not the Dynamax side).

They have since taken some of the "puff" out of the design. They could very well have parts made ahead, but I think I brought at least one or two of the proto's to the Rally.

If you PM me your mailing address and VIN, I will gladly mail one out.

I'll see if the supplier can get me a batch of the new style, so if we do mail one out it should not happen again.

I cleaned mine and put a dab of silicone. Seems to work for now but will need to be replaced.

They are giving me a batch of the new style when they are made up. Just OM me your VIN and mailing address. I'll get one out when they come in.
