My Sunseeker is a 2012 with 18000 miles and looks nearly as good as it did went I rolled away from the dealer.

Seats are like new. I don’t get how this one could be that bad.

I’m wondering if that driver seat has to do with a cat

Only reasonable explanation I can come up with

Looks like hydrolysis. Some vinyls and/or polyeurethanes can delaminate under the right conditions. If you are treating vinyl with leather care products, many can contain petroleum by-products and they can react badly. Armorall can cause reactions as well.

Mild soap and water is the best bet.

Walk On......

These are great RV’s, but this one looks like it has been rode hard and put up wet. Condition would worry me

From the looks of that seat and the interior 17K on the clock maybe 117k looks like a part time job

From what I see is that it was not taking care of well and you dont know what you cant see. Meaning, there might be more wrong with it then what you can see.

I wish I knew...The newer stuff that we use seems to be more durable and more companies are putting 7-10 year hydrolysis ratings on them. About 5-7 years ago however, some batches of vinyls just weren't ready for what people would throw at them.

Again, my recommendation is soap and water. It's not leather.

Sorry it took so long to reply, we are on a cross country trip as we speak. I think our rig handles great, on this trip I have done a couple of 14 hour days and just today did the Million Dollar Highway (550) from Montrose to Silverton Co. We are 2500 miles into a 5000 mile trip towing a 5000 pound trailer and all is good.
