Was at the hershey show this morning - they don't have the new colors on the ISATA 5 there, but have a DX3 in sunset... Looks amazing!

Deciding 4x4 vs 2wd, and sunset vs bordello. Th I5 is great in person, I think they lost a Force sale in favor of it.

More news from the Hershey show - the Ram chassis will no longer be ordered with the 22 gallon second fuel tank; so 52 is the max regardless of drivetrain.

The reason I was told was to save weight, but it's probably to save cost since 22 gallons of diesel weighs less than 160 pounds, pretty trivial in a nearly ten ton truck. It would be nice if the savings were put into better front seats or an induction cooktop.

It was weight. Pure and simple, you'd be surprised how heavy an apartment is on the back of a truck. While it's only 160lbs we also save the weight of the tank, hoses and brackets for about a 200lbs net savings (so another person or more cargo). The chassis actually costs us more because we added power driver seat at the same time.

As for induction. Those are pretty inexpensive. We don't use them because they are not widely adopted and require specific pans. I actually prefer cooking with gas myself.

Seats are stock Dodge seats. We can't get anything better from them.

That's a good trade, and what I meant about the seats - they need vertical adjustment.

(any chance they got an armrest???)

Good answer, thanks!

Working on the armrest. Tried to see if Dodge offered them on anything and that was a no-go.

Have you thought about third party front seats? Surely something besides Dodge will work.
