loose bolts

FYI:

On the dinette slide out of the 37BH, if you hear a clunk at the end of the
extention or at the end of the retraction, check these bolts.
some of mine were loose > the bolts on the bottom of the slide room.
re did all of mine and problem solved.

Brian: could you ask if there is a torque for those bolts? should we put
locktight on them?

thanks

Is there any rhyme or reason as to where they go in the slots or do they just do that for ease of installation? Just wondering if any adjustments are necessary when re-tightening. I'm sure mine are due for a check

To be clear, only the upper bolts that are on the bottom of the slide.

All other bolts were tight.

put a flat washer and then lock washers on them. There will be movement to the assembled area and the bolts my loosen a little. with locktight on the bolt/nut will hold the bolt/nut 'together', but the bracket area can still loosen from movement. Same thought when changing a tire, tighten to torque and then 25miles down the road re tighten.

Tighten these bolts (with lock washer) and after several usages, re tighten again.
