The FinishMaster product worked better than the other products mentioned but not totally.

I tried it again today but still had the dicor streaks.

Then I remembered a cleaner that I bought from a vender at the Timonium RV show a few years ago. I tried it and it worked!

Basically spray on and wipe off. The directions say to spray on the area to be cleaned but there was over spray so I wet the cloth instead. I remember the vender telling me to wipe it off right away; but he may have been referring to a metal cleaner that I also bought.

After it cleaned up much of the Dicor I tried it on some black streaks. It was like a TV commercial, one wipe and they were gone.

DWG ULTRA-ION waterless car wash. DWG Internationalâ„¢ - Manufacturer of Dri Wash 'n Guard®

I had to return my neighbors ladder so I will finish the job later. Now I can stop being embarrassed by the appearance of my rear cap.

I used an automotive type 'prep-sol' material to remove the residual glue on my floor after removing the carpeting & foam padding in my DX3 and it worked very well. After running out, I bought a gallon of 'Goof Off' from Lowes and it worked almost the same. It also smelled almost the same. It set off the carbon monoxide detector numerous times until I finally pulled the fuse. It will remove many types of substances w/o being too aggressive. You make have to let a rag soaked w/ Goof Off set on the area so it can soften what ever you want to remove. Good stuff.

I used the Mystery Solvent on the Master Weld 502 caulk and it worked great.
I will also try your new found stuff, thanks

You are welcome to try mine before you buy. A little goes a long way.

BTW, Goof Off is also pretty good at removing soap scum in the shower/tub. You have to use a saturated rag & flip/fold it constantly to expose clean portions of the rag. A plastic scrub brush can also help the cleaning process.
