Need awning end cap
I'm not sure where we lost it, but did go thru a heavy hailstorm in NM last week. We did not put the canopy awning out on the trip but it's somewhere between AZ and NM. Can I order the part from FR or do I need to contact Carefree?

If you call Carefree direct, they should send it at no charge. I think it is a known issue (or at least it was, I think they were changing the design)

Thank you. I called Carefree, a new cap (both pieces) will be shipped tomorrow, no charge. They suggested we replace both pieces and either superglue or screw them together.
Again, thanks. I really appreciate the feedback on this forum and we are so happy with our Isata3.

I had to go to their website and really search for a number. They sure don't make it easy. 303-469-3324
Be sure to tell them you talked with Dynamax or this forum and learned this was a known issue. I got a loud sigh, a long pause, then they took my info. It's the back end - idler end cover.

lol....I always tell everyone NOT to use my name.
At Sunseeker I had someone that wanted a winterizing take up valve. I told them exactly what to ask for because we did it for rentals...but said "don't use my name" just say you read about this somewhere and you needed it...or "I'll buy from you if you can do this".
What do they do. They call their dealer "Brian Clemens said...." ugh...that always earned me a scolding.
Now, no one can scold me...but I'd rather it be, "I read on some forums that this seems to be a common occurrence or known issue". Leaves it vague so they can't come back and ambush me.

Brian I took your advice, and quoted you"I read on some forums that this seems to be a common occurrence or known issue". Leaves it vague so they can't come back and ambush me.

Our awning rear cap blew off somewhere between home and the campground this weekend. I will contact the manufacturer regarding a replacement, but wanted to confirm that it is okay to operate the awning without the cap. It is just decorative, correct? We are heading out again soon and would like to be able to use it. Thanks.

I think this is a bigger issue. Our Carefree end cap on the front end was missing at delivery and they had to get a replacement and install. So far they are both still there after one month. Definitely bookmarking this thread so I know how to handle.

I lost mine awhile back - they just snap together so when I fixed it I also used a black tie on both end caps and now think it will hold together !

Hey Brian! Both of our end caps are still on after almost 8000 miles. But......the front one is covered in bug guts that I just can't get off no matter how much hot water I use. Do you think if I tell them that it's a "known problem", they will send me new ones?

Maybe, but I wouldn't try to pull that one off. Still under warranty and I got the bugs off. You gonna be in Goshen Brian?

Try REJEX on that front end cap.

I try to go out at least for the first day/dinner night. Although last year I was only there briefly and had to travel to a dealer event.

Well, if you can, make sure you walk around and say hello to all of the DYNAMAX owners.
