Don't walk away from this deal. Run!!!!
There are hundreds of dealers in the country who will give you an out the door price today. The incentive story is just a shot at potentially getting more from you at delivery. I will say that was creative though shady salesmanship. You should actually be insulted that they are playing with your intelligence.

once you get the bids you will have your info you need to make an
informed decision...

So can a dealer get a firm price on an Isata 4 25FW? My dealer doesn't want to talk about price until one is on the lot, which stymies me on deciding whether to order one or wait for one to show up and not have what I want for options

There are three 25FW for sale at MHSRV with firm prices. This should give you an idea. They sell a lot of Dynamax units and where I bought mine. I shopped it pretty hard and didn’t find a better deal.

Dealing with Dealers

I NEVER, EVER deal with one dealer! I contact as many dealers online or phone and find the best price available.
i hear people saying "buy at home". I can drive a long way to save $1,000 and I drove to Michigan from Texas and bought a 2015 Cardinal 3850 for $21,000 under local prices. I only drove 1300 miles. You can't believe their markup.

The problem with warranty work (even for GM, Ford, et al, dealers), is that the manufacturer doesn't always (maybe should say "rarely"?) pays the full cost of the work. So warranty work can be a losing proposition.

I wish I knew how you guys were getting 30% off msrp. I can’t get anybody in the Midwest over 20 on Dynamax, Renegade, Newmar, or Tiffin. Even the guy selling Senencas is only at 20.5% off his ridiculous sticker price.

Warranty work is important, BUT I travel with mine an am usually at lest 600 miles from home, so it don't help if I buy at home or 600 miles from home. Warranty will be honored at other dealers IF you call the right people.
