The point to the dark band at the bottom is three fold.
1. Design wise it mimics a "throw blanket".
2. Two, when silly customers test out the bed with their shoes on, it will not show on the dark band
3. when people sit, they normally sit on the end of the bed and sometimes I have seen dust or dirt or denim stain lighter material.

Obviously, now that it is yours, you can do what you want. But that's why the band was supposed to be at the bottom.

Brian, realize that CZNEDY "Steve" if that's really his name is in some covert mission to infiltrate the phat phrog clan and does weird things to fit in.
Some things are brutally obvious and others not so much.
He comes bearing gifts that secretly have tracking and listening devices, Steve once sent me a skunk pelt with such devices however comma it stunk so bad I put it on the porch for 6 mo. While it aired out.
Funny thing is he kept calling asking me to look at it and bring it in the house.
The pelt mysteriously keeps ending up in my Columbus.
Poor Betsy I think is a pawn in his cover up.

That is once nice unit. A fellow home owner in our HOA has a 2015 Itasca 3 i believe he is going to sell after his last trip. He has been on a 155 day trip this year, was home for week and now out to west coast. Runs like a top he says.
