New "Black Out" Packages for 2017 DX3

While our artist designed graphics have been a huge hit, we have seen some demand for simpler, more automotive style exteriors. As such, we are proud to introduce the Midnight Metallic and Glacier Metallic Special Edition Black Out Packages. These two packages will offer single color automotive BASF paint along with black powder coated aluminum wheels and trim.

For those of you that say RV paint looks like a "tribal tattoo"...we were listening and now you have options.

These are initial renderings only. Once we get one painted I'll get some different angles.

Wow, its sharp as can be (the black out). It would look even better with a leaning #3 on the side, and a silver & red stripe at the bottom

I'm curious though. Have you put much thought into the heat factor all the black is going to generate? It might need 2 more 15K units.

We have actually done some very dark single colors already and they have held up well.

We run (2) 15kw Atwoods standard which spec wise (they say, and I would concur) match up to an 18k.

I like the white. Looks very haulmark like.

The black looks like sorting from a futuristic police movie!

That's the only concern I would have about it. JMT's

It is however really a good looking rig. I used to love my black vehicles, nothing looks better, but finally got tired of keeping them clean and un-scratched. They should be a huge seller.

Keeping them clean is a big PITA! My concern would be, how do they perform out in the middle of a desert when it's 120 degrees and the sun is beating down?

I'm guessing the white one would perform very well and would be the best choice in that environment. Maybe a silver one is in our near future.

I'm sure the black would look different in person, picture posted kinda looks like a UPS truck. No offense.. while I personally like graphics, I dont like them if there too busy.

We have built these before as custom requests, just figured we would offer them up for those that don't know they can get it.

If the black or white is not your style, we'll still offer our normal selection.

when i worked for Volvo we had problems with headliner material separating from the headliner in Arizona. they figured out that the reindeer glue from Sweden didn't work well in extreme heat. i say just don't use reindeer glue.
