New to the forum

Evening,
I have been reading this forum for sometime and have I have picked up some great info and tips. I have an issue I cannot find an answer to.

I had some work done on my DX3 and one of the services was having both the starting and house batteries checked. The batteries were fine but they left a ground wire off the house batteries. It is the negative that is grounded to the body frame. I am assuming this should be connected to the negative side of the
house batteries.
Thanks.

Thanks for welcomes!
Been on the ground in NH for the summer.
Getting the DX3 ready to eventually end up in SW FL. Going to stop and see family in Virginia, friends in North and South Carolina. And who knows what where else.

Bill thanks for info on the battery. Hooked it up this morning and everything worked fine.
Mechanical, plumbing, painting and woodwork I am good at. Electric ok but always worry frying the electronics.
Thanks again
