I don't even know if the AM or FM part of my radio even works. Since I spend most of my travel time out on the highway I just use XM radio.
I think the last time I listened to an AM station was when I was driving at night between Seattle and Denver. Only station I could get was running Art Bell's Coast to Coast and every nut case, conspiracy theorist, alien abduction, fan was calling in. Was just weird enough to keep me awake.

I only listen to FM when going through a car wash. We stream or run XM in the RV, I hate randomly searching for content. Never AM.

That sums it up. Do you remember UHF TV? I think AM radio is there.

Strange, but I only listen to AM. I don't like listening to music, and have preferred local sports talk shows for 2 or 3 decades now.

I owned a Tiger 4x4 RV for years. After the Tiger I owned a Winnebago View
for 10 years. Both had radio antenna on roof with exellent FM and AM reception.
Because of this Dynamax owners group I bought an Isata 3.
Members pitch in with great ideas, suggestions and mods
to improve our rv experience.
For me one of those experiences is to be able to
use my xite radio.

I listen to AM every day. Just not in my RV. ☹️
LittleMoose and I can’t be the only ones keeping the hundreds of AM radio stations in business.

I guess that depends on the college. I stream just about every game on XM. Especially when I am away from home....no one is going to have Ohio State games on in tennessee AM radio. The Catholic Channel on XM broadcasts all home Notre Dame games.
Plus, I have Xfinity at home. So I stream the actual video broadcast of the game to my phone either from my DVR or from the app.
I traveled for sales and RV shows for 15 years. So I got very good at finding out how to watch my Buckeyes on Saturday when in the Northwest and no regional coverage. Not one of them was AM radio (not hating on Am...just saying there are so many better options out there now).

I don't listen to AM Radio either, but the bottom line is that if you put the Radio in the Coach, it ought to work.

I don't know that I have denied that. In fact in my earlier post, I was giving some instruction on what it could be, how to go about getting it corrected and directing them to the proper sources. At the same time, trying to give some viable alternatives.

I look in the “A” post, drivers side, no antenna? There is 2 small wires that continues to the rear of the cab toward the “B” post , no idea what they go to .

UHF TV still exists. HD TV is broadcast on the UHF band, even for the now nonexistent VHF band channels 2 through 13. You remember those channels as the ones lightening would interfere with the same as it does with AM radio.

New location for FM antenna
On the 2019 Isata3 the FM
I spoke to the Factory rep,
He informed me the dashboard radio has a adapter that changes the radio antenna to RG6 with a F connecter. The RG6 coax is run under the cab floorboards the area under the sink where all the electric switches are located. It connects to a splitter which also has all the TVs and coach radio, they are all connected to the winegard antenna on the roof via a power booster. With all Winegard systems powered the coach radio seems to be the only radio connected to a antenna.
