OK someone (don't remember who) I lied.
Someone asked if we were planning any new DX3 colors..at the time...no we were not. But, someone ordered a custom color that we all really liked, so sales asked if we could offer it as stock for 2019. I said that would be fine.
I'm not sure if they have a name yet.
So I guess technically I didn't lie...we were not planning it, but in todays media, drama gets headlines. And "I lied" is way more buzz worthy than "we didn't really plan on it but here we are"

It’s an awesome combo. I’m sure if you hadn’t made it a new color you’d be getting a lot of “custom” orders. Looks like a good move. Really cool how subtly it all blends together.

Thank you for posting Brian, if you bring that on as a standard colour it will almost certainly be well received!
Do you think you could accommodate that colour on a DX3 that is currently on-order with a custom "Briarwood" selection?

You'd have to check with your dealer/sales rep depending on where it is in the process.

Hello Brian, thanks for the recent contact with our dealer rep... not all good news but we appreciate finally getting some answers.
Regarding this new colour(not standard for 2019 yet?)... is there any chance of getting the paint code for the dark upper body colour(dark/med - silver/grey)?

Working on that. I have a question in on the color to confirm (If we name it, then it won't be custom and any custom charges waived). and also trying to clarify the slide out question. Hope to know something tomorrow.

Thank you for taking my dealer inquiry on. I don't want to abuse the privilege of this forum but the communication with the dealer had been very challenging, especially given the incredible level of information that is exchanged here... a top reason we went with Dynamax in the first place!

The color is "001" pretty high tech hung? It is a custom color created by DeWayne Creighton who has been at Dynamax since the beginning. He said he was doing tone-on-tone stuff and all the grays kept running blue or pink, so he created one. If you plug this into a BASF machine, it will give you the mix. 001

Nice combination of grey tones but, like my DX3, looks like an old black & white TV. No ‘color’

It looks like it will be called "Magnetic". Just let your dealer know if that is the color choice you want. It would no longer be a custom color.
