Picked up my Isata 5 35 DB

Picked up my unit today from Dylan's in Sewell NJ. Absolutely fantastic dealer! I highly recommend them! I traded my 16 Greyhawk 31FS. The handling difference is astonishing. The Isata is lightyears ahead of the E450's. It tracks straight, no bouncing or drifting. I can't wait to take it back on the road.

I have been going through the unit and had a few questions. I have a manual for a hose master storage reel but don't see one in the unit. Anyone else have one?

This question is for Bill, why no shelves in the upper cabinets in the kitchen area? And is the blue tooth module installed in the 2018 so I can control the unit from my phone?

I have 2 batteries and know I can have up to 4. Can I add just one or does it have to be in pairs?

And is the ladder intended for both the front and rear bunks?

1. no hose master for the 5 series. That probably got put in by accident, since it runs down the same line as the DX3.
2. shelves, might have been a design thing. We never know how high to mount and adjustable are noisy and bounce. I'll relay that to engineering however.
3. Bluetooth is not official yet, goes official for 2019 MY, but I'm pretty sure they are in all of them now. You pair through the app, not your bluetooth menu. instructions attached.
4. ladder is for the front bunk. We never added one for the rear, but it is on the list to give a step or foothold.

Thanks for the info! Any ideas on adding just a third battery?

Not really. we have put (3) in the XL before, 4D's. So I don't see why not. We only do two for weight reasons. Give you the option how you want to balance that.

Is it possible to install a flip down TV in the bunk? Rather fish the wire through the ceiling if possible. I think I have a solution for a curtain.

We have curtain and track that we run on our DX3 bunk models. Not sure why that wouldn't work,

I have looked at other models but the are all straight across. The DX3 is straight and has a return wall that covers a portion of the bunk. I need to do a rod that returns at the end or has an extension bracket since the back side by the master sticks out and other side is open. Saw a few curtain rods that have extension brackets, just need to come out about 6" on the front side. There will be a sight gap when closed walking towards the back of the coach but that isn't a big deal, everything else will be covered. Kids like their privacy... lol

Any thoughts on the flip down TV in the bunk?
