Picked Up New I5 30FW 4/25

We picked up our new I5 yesterday purchased at the Hershey Show. Thanks to all of the forum members that have shared their experiences we felt prepared.
We live in CNY and picked up at Dylan’s RV in New Jersey. The RV was spotless
all prepped for a complete demo of all systems even dumping tanks. Only minor tweaks done right then. Great partnership Dynamax quality and Dylan’s old-school service. I have never seen another Dynamax on the road but on the way home got passed by a DX3 pulling a white cargo trailer with enviable driving in traffic skills. Taking that as a good sign!

Welcome! Dylan's has proven to be a very good partner for us. They have, like us all, had some rough patches due to personnel changes, but the owner is a good guy that wants to do things right.

I wish we had the same experience at Dylans’s. We bought ours as a consignment unit from them, it was a terrible buying experience. We would never recommend them.

Like I said....I hate to give a blanket statement, because I know that no matter who you are there is someone that had a bad experience. Even Chick-Fil-a has its haters. Sometimes it can come down to a single bad employee.

Sorry that you had an unpleasant experience. I wonder if because it was a consignment deal involving a third party that trouble occurred.

Yes, Grasshopper there are those whose unfounded hate prevents them from enjoying a wonderful experience.

A journey of a thousand meals begins with but one bite.

The problem was Dylans! They had a consignment unit on their lot that was still under factory warranty but chose not make any repairs until we pointed them out. They were obvious repairs that were needed, wood trim pulled away the slide, air vent trim rings missing, drivers seat arm rest broken these are things that should have been taken care of before a customer had to point them out. Then as we questioned the use of the residential refrigerator we were told that once the batteries got low on voltage the AGS would start the generator, the only problem is the rv “didn’t have AGS”. The day we went to pick it up they still hadn’t fixed a lot of the problems that we had pointed out and the rv was filthy so our day ended up being twice as long as it should have been. That’s not how you run a business and that’s not how you sell a product that cost $200,000
