Here I thought I was hot **** buying a blue RV to match my blue jeep. Never thought of actually using THE actual paint code!

Live and learn... Looks killer!

Thanks to all for the kind words & encouragement on our new RV. I know we will love the ride. We are so anxious to get it. They all look so damn good going down the road, especially with a Jeep in tow. We don't see many Dynamax RV's on the road in CA. Hope to see more as we travel the US over the next year. Retiring our old 1982 Airstream MH (20 years) for the new DX3.

I have been researching Dynamax and Brian has been great at answering questions.

Brian, is custom paint a option in general for folks.

I have been looking at the Isata 5's and like that new one earlier today. I have a 2014 Granite Jeep Rubicon X and I saw the comments about that color and it does hide dirt excellent.

So question would be does it cost extra to have a solid color with a specific Jeep paint code given they don't have to tape off all the swirl, or better yes is there a cost reduction?

The Rubicon X uses a red color on the hood sticker, tow hooks so I was thinking of maybe a red strip on the seal above storage bins for accent.

Be nice to see those two units with custom paint when they are finished to see if they are one solid color or accent colors as well without all the swirl type design on the stock (not that those are bad).

Customer Paint? Within reason. Solid colors, no problem...although black is tough. Really needs to be heavy metallic or is shows every single blemish and these are not metal show cars, these are 40' RV's.

As for cost, there is no cost reduction. We have to mix custom colors and we take the risk that if a retail backs out, we have to move a custom unit to a dealer. So what minimal we save, we end up potentially losing anyway. Plus anyone else doing a custom paint job would charge you for it. We also don't charge for it, unless it is going to take more time or is something intricate.

Our guys love to do different things. While they love to do anything, I have to keep things within reason. I still need to get it through the paint booths in a timely manner. What we would do is give you a side profile image and have you sign off or mark up what you want. For something as simple as a solid color with red stripe...as long as we had a clear definitive line, we could do something like that. If you left the logos, we could do those in red as well.

Yep. It's got a big covered patio with furniture and an outdoor kitchen. Inside is just a bathroom with a really nice shower and a closet and changing room.
