Power problem

We have a 2016 DX3 37BH....currently in RV
Park with 50amp hookup & all power was okay. Yesterday we blew the inside 50amp main breaker (don’t ask..bad day) and the system switched to inverter power. We reset the breakers, checked everything and it won’t switch back to AC In on the Xantrex. The power on the pole is good. We started the generator and everything works fine... AC In is lit and batteries are charging. Is there a breaker somewhere we are missing for the Xantrex to see shore power?

The Xantrex is pass through....so I'm not sure what you are asking??? The inverter can still be ON even when you have AC power...it just won't do anything.

Try this troubleshooting guide.

sounds like your AUTO TRANSFER SWITCH got fried, or maybe it's just a 'loose' connection within it(hopefully), because it's 'seeing' the Generator power, but not the Shore Power.

try a test: plug the 50amp shore cord into the power pedestal - do you hear a 'clunk' from the ATS? if not, it's probably not seeing the shore power.

lastly, it 'could' also be a loose connection within your shore cord end.

bclemens is right... the readout for the Inverter will only tell you whether it's 'Inverting' or 'Charging'.
If 'Inverting', then you have no external power... if 'Charging', then you have external power, the Inverter is then in 'standby mode', and the 120v from either the generator or the shore power is 'passing thru' the Inverter to power your outlets.

of course, my Magnum inverter may have a different panel and readouts than yours, but they work basically the same...

There is also a way within the transfer switch to manually engage it. That is a "transfer switch with surge guard". if you surged...you may have blown that board. So it will not transfer.

Thanks for all the help... resetting Xantrex didn’t change symptoms.
Looks more like the surge protector is the problem. We have lots of batteries with the solar that are in the way. We have an appointment Monday at LazyDays in Tucson to fix the slide disaster ( rear motor must’ve shorted and started moving out on its own while we were going through the mountains east of El Paso, caused lots of damage)
We hope they have time to look at the power too.
Sure has been a trying trip this year.
