Precision Plex Digi-Level Panel Relocation
Ok...Let's start new here. The PP panel in the wet bay has been an issue for a few of us. I will be installing the third one in my Isata 5 30FW as soon at it gets here and the other parts arrive.
I asked Brian Clemons last week if he could get a wiring harness made that would allow me to move that panel inside the coach to eliminate the possibility of the unprotected electronics on the panel getting wet. He was going to check with engineering to see about it.
Over the weekend the weather warmed up enough to where I could work outside, so I started planning the move. In that process I found out that on the I5 30FW 4X4 that I have there is enough slack in the wiring to move it into the compartment under the bed without the need of a harness extension. YAY!!
Now I am waiting for a waterproof box to mount the electronics in to make double sure that thing won't get wet again. I won't be able to see the monitor, but everything that is displayed on it is available on the app, I believe. I won't miss it.
Also, it was necessary to relocate the Pump and Light switch in the wet bay but that was an easy fix.

Thanks for starting a new thread. That should help clean up the original thread that was about slide issues. Here was my solution to the problem:

Got the box and relocated the DigiLevel Monitor inside the coach. Unless the pump, fresh water tank, or plumbing here spring a major leak this thing shouldn't get wet again. I found a box that fit the monitor perfectly...even the screw holes lined up. It was a little tricky getting the holes cut in the bottom of the box to get the wiring inside, and I did not seal up the bottom where the wires enter, but hopefully this is the end of the problems with this thing.

After a couple digi level replacements from water spraying in the wetbay, (out door shower left on, improperly connected fresh water, gray tank leak) I just relocated my digi level and mounted inside. I mounted it on the side of the master bed, facing the bathroom, above the breaker panel. If I need to I can check the digi level there. there was enough slack in the harness to bring it up through a hole I drilled under the master bed and route it to the side of the bed. I Cut out a square hole in the side of the bed and mounted both the digi level and the switch for the water pump and light there as well. I just needed to separate the coax cable and wires to the light for the wet bay from the harness, rebundle them with electricians tape and the existing black plastic sheathing and feed it up through an inch and a half hole I drilled under the bed. there was excess plastic sheating from inside the wet bay which I used to rebundle the coax and wires for the wetbay light, reinserted those wires back in the wetbay and sealed with silicone. sealed the whole I drilled under the masterbed with a foam. and all is good with minor exception that I can't turn the light on or the water pump on from the wetbay. but it's worth not buying anymore digi levels.

What about installing remote switches in the wet bay where you can turn it on from outside as well as from the inside?

How large of a hole do you need to drill to get the plug through the bedroom floor?

Pictures? Where did you mount it inside? I've had no problems since I mounted mine in an enclosure and sealed the cable entry with duct seal.

It may have been possible to remove the switch wires from the wiring harness and leave the switches in the wet bay but I opted to remove any electronics from the wet bay (except light itself) including the switches since there was evidence of corrosion on the light and water pump switch.
